Various Nationalised bank in india offer bank loans to students for education. The terms and conditions, requirements of security deposite and guarantor etc. vary. Loan for education are offered by bank for a wide range of courses including diploma, degree, post graduate courses, Proffessional courses like Egineering medicine, CA/CS/ICWAI/ACS, Management, Hotel Management, Law, Science, Computer studies, Nursing, Paramedical and technical course. Usually the bank specify the courses for which they offer loan . PROCEDURE : Normally the banks consider the application for students education loan after the student has obtained admission to a course in recognised institution. The college/institution has to issue a certificate affirming that the student has been admitted to the course in the specify academic year.   1. Marks sheet of the qualifying examination for school or colleges .
  2. Copies of letters confirming scholorship, studentship, etc.
  3. Proof of admission to the course
  4. Schedule of course
  5. Two passport size photo of the borrower/guarantor.
  6. Acopy of of foreign exchange permit (if applicable)
  7. The Borrower's bank account statement for the last six months.
  8. Proof of residence.
